That balcony trick really works: leave your clothes out overnight and the morning sun dries them in about 20 minutes. We spent three days here at the start of our Italy trip, and ended up loving both Naples and Napoli Pie. The neighborhood looked a little rough to us at first, though we soon realized that’s just part of Naples’ character. The location is handy for walking to most sights, with restaurants and nightlife nearby. We found it one of the best value-for-money stays of our three weeks in Italy, and would happily recommend it.

The room was spotless and had a modern feel, and it was easy to walk everywhere from here. Daniele was warm and helpful, and showed us a few local traditions. We had a brilliant long weekend and would definitely return 😁

Daniele was welcoming, flexible, and full of useful tips. The place is in a residential part of the old town, so despite being close to the tourist center, it still has that local, raw feel. The location also puts the train station, city center, supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants within a few minutes on foot. Inside, everything was comfortable and exceptionally clean: an ergonomic mattress and pillow, air conditioning with a quiet setting, a small fridge with a tiny freezer, a large cupboard with handy sections and a safe, plus a modern bathroom. Every room has a balcony. Naples can be very loud, but the windows block a fair amount of the noise. My standards for a place to stay are pretty high, and I can’t think of anything missing here. I can’t imagine a better base in Naples.

The host was very welcoming and ready with directions whenever we needed them. Our room was nice, with air conditioning, comfy beds, and a very new bathroom and shower. There was coffee in the morning, too. A full breakfast would have been welcome, though perhaps that’s asking a lot at 60€ for a double room in August.
