Hotel Palazzo Argenta

Hotel Palazzo Argento seemed to be full of people like us, staying because it’s close to the airport. It works perfectly for a night before flying, though I wouldn’t choose it as a holiday base.

The front desk staff were courteous, and breakfast had a decent spread from 7-10am. The hotel is livable for a short stay, and the price is low, though the area of Naples feels fairly sketchy. The walls are very thin, so I could hear everything next door, along with loud thuds from upstairs through the night. There aren’t many basics in the room, like toothpaste, toothbrushes, or shampoo. Also, the elevator costs extra to use. The checkout card says 12pm, but checkout is actually 11am.

The location is quite good, and the receptionist was kind and polite. The rooms felt like being in someone’s house, really old and strangely laid out 🤣. I didn’t try breakfast or lunch. Honestly, the receptionist was the only good thing for me.

There are good restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was really good too. The rooms are on the small side, but had everything we needed.
