A great starting point for exploring the city.

Absolutely not! Our train was delayed, and they left us without a room at Naples station at midnight. We might have had to sleep right there in the station!

The location is very convenient, close to the train station and metro, and about a 20-minute walk from the city center. The rooms have all been renovated recently, are nicely furnished, and have comfortable bathrooms. There’s also a shared coffee machine, kettle, and microwave. We felt more reassured as the days went by because we had no trouble and didn’t see any inappropriate incidents. Still, the neighborhood isn’t great for a first impression: it’s dirty, and immigrants spend the day hanging out on the sidewalks. Naples as a whole has a serious problem with dirty streets.

The café breakfast was the worst part of the stay. The music was so loud we had to shout to hear each other. It was at a café near the station, so I’ll review that separately since it isn’t part of the property. The property itself is very well maintained and new, with a really spacious room. Maids cleaned it every morning, though I didn’t appreciate having towels changed when they weren’t dirty. The neighborhood feels unwelcoming, with dirt and unpleasant smells, but step inside the apartment and it feels like another world. Don’t be put off, this place is truly worth it.
