Two stars is about all I can give. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of Piazza Garibaldi and just a few steps from the subway and train station. But it’s not the nicest part of Naples, and getting back late can feel a little intimidating if you don’t know the city. The rooms are modern and renovated, but ours didn’t feel clean, and the building is run-down. They kindly let us leave our bags early, yet started knocking at 10:30 AM to make us leave even though checkout was 11:00 AM, because other guests had arrived later. We skipped breakfast. It’s a croissant and coffee at a bar with two-star reviews, while there are much better pastry shops a few steps away. The price was cheap, €70 for a double room for two people for one night, so it was about what you’d expect. The mattress was the hardest and most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. My partner and I slept terribly and woke up with back pain. Aside from the cleaning lady, we saw no one, not a receptionist or the owner. They didn’t even ask for our mandatory IDs. I could have been a fugitive and slept here comfortably. They clearly aren’t in the business of running this properly. When we return to this beautiful city, we definitely won’t stay here.

A very nice room with air conditioning, and the owner is a really nice person. It’s especially convenient if you want to get around Naples by train or metro without a car. There’s a garage nearby too. The building isn’t five-star, but it’s well kept for a place in central Naples.

Everything you need is in the clean, tidy room, which is great for a short visit. The location is fantastic. The girls at the partner bar serving breakfast were friendly and lovely, though the coffee and croissants were below par. Communication and booking management were nothing short of grotesque.

ATTENTION!!! I was SCAMMED!!! I booked this property through Booking.com with a credit card commitment. At the B&B, they said my card wasn’t accepted and insisted I pay cash. They also said they’d run out of payment receipts. After I’d stayed, they charged my card anyway. I only caught it on my bank statement, since my phone notification only comes through when you make a commitment during booking. I tried contacting the property several times by phone and email, but got no reply. I’ll file a complaint. If you paid in cash, I urge you to check your bank statement.

The location in the city was the only thing we liked. The photos don't reflect the place at all, which is in a run-down, dirty building. We paid in cash ahead of time and got no receipt. The room was filthy, with dirty sheets and hair on the pillows, so it looked like they hadn't been changed. The bathroom drain didn't work, there was just one partly used roll of toilet paper, and hygiene was poor. We got only one towel each for the whole stay. Breakfast was supposedly included, but it meant going to a sort of bar for terrible coffee and a croissant that seemed days old. We left after the first night, even though we'd already paid. A holiday to forget. Naples deserves so much better.
