Relais Ammira

The location couldn't be more central, right in the heart of the Spanish Quarter and surrounded by restaurants and shops, with all the main attractions close by. The hotel has been completely renovated, with beautiful, tasteful minimalist decor and excellent soundproofing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we had a perfect stay. Breakfast had a nice range of options and was very good, though the coffee beans could be better. Our room was right by the breakfast area, but the sound insulation kept out footsteps and conversations. We could still hear cutlery clinking, though, so anyone sensitive to noise might want to ask for a room further away. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

The breakfast spread was a highlight, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, cured meats, hot dishes, and artisanal pastries, all carefully prepared with quality ingredients. Relais Ammira also sits right on Via Toledo, close to the Spanish Quarter and Spaccanapoli, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and the main sights easy to reach. We found the rooms comfortable, well equipped, quiet, and air-conditioned, and the whole property has a welcoming, distinctive style. From arrival, the staff treated us with thoughtful courtesy that made the place feel familiar. The atmosphere and hospitality really stayed with me. My time in Naples was a pleasure, and I hope to come back.

The room we chose was just right for us: neat, clean, and nicely furnished. We were also pleased with how helpful the phone service was with my requests, and the welcome in our room was better than we expected. We’d be glad to return to Naples. There were two things that bothered us. Our personal host seemed overly familiar, with intrusive looks and too much talking, beyond what felt professional. Then, on checkout day, we noticed my partner’s underwear was still under a pillow. We called promptly to arrange to collect it, but were told nothing had been found. I’m not accusing any specific person, but we weren’t happy with how the people responsible for cleaning and lost property handled it, given that less than eight hours had passed since checkout.

This newly renovated relais is on the second floor of a historic building on Via Toledo. It was clean, and everyone on staff was very friendly. Special thanks to Giulia for taking care of all my requests and making two days feel special for us.
