Horrible experience. We spent a lot of money for what felt like a nightmare hotel, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. We didn’t leave early because we’d get no refund for the unused nights or the trips we’d arranged and would miss. We weren’t trying to get a free stay, just to have the damage to our car fixed through insurance, but they refused to cooperate or offer any solution. We’d paid €25 a day for private “guarded” parking, yet got the car back scratched and damaged after they dragged linen bags over the hood. When we complained to reception, they said they couldn’t do anything and referred us to terms and conditions that don’t exist. The room was filthy: black mold in the shower and around the window, a shower that wouldn’t drain with pieces missing from the buttons, filthy walls, and crumbling plaster. The included breakfast buffet was already full of flies just after opening. The food was unhealthy and tasted like cardboard.

We stayed for two nights and I’d absolutely come back. I liked that the hotel is tucked inside a rustic building, which gives you the true feel of Napoli, so don’t judge it by the entrance. Inside, the room was huge and modern, with all the amenities you’d get in a five-star hotel. The location was perfect, the prices reasonable, and the staff kind and really helpful. Breakfast was so good, especially the coffee machine. I had to leave early for the train on checkout day, so the staff left me breakfast the evening before. That made me feel special. This place is the best, trust me, and I don’t believe the negative reviews.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. We paid for three nights, but our flight was delayed and we reached the hotel at 10:00 pm. They wouldn’t let us in and left us out on the street with our luggage. The woman even said she’d call the police if we didn’t leave.

The rooms were clean, with nice, large bathrooms. Staff were very polite and let us check in early without any trouble. They also kept our bags at reception while we explored Naples before our flight. Nice hotel!

Rossella was incredibly kind and helpful from the start of our stay right through to the end. Relais Piazza del Plebiscito is a lovely place, perfectly placed for some great restaurants, bars, and shops. We had the best stay and would definitely recommend it if you’re in Naples.
