The apartment was dirty throughout, with stains on the surfaces and floor, hair on the bathroom floor, a dirty shower and toilet, and stained sheets with hair in them. Six of us ended up having to sleep in the only two usable beds. What an ordeal. The owner's behavior was dishonest. We had agreed on a check-in time days ahead, but she changed it at the last minute, blaming the previous guests for being late. We were left carrying our bags and inconvenienced. It was an experience I'd rather forget, but I had to write this review. If you don't want to go through the same thing, stay away.

The owner hadn't registered my reservation, made three months in advance, and let someone else book dates that overlapped with mine. I only found out by chance 15 days before arriving. She didn't ask whether I'd rather move or have the other guests stay elsewhere for one night. The change was imposed on me. At first, she correctly offered to pay for my stay because it was her mistake. But once she realized how much more it would cost to stay elsewhere at short notice during the holiday season, she refused and said she only had to reimburse me for the night I wouldn't be staying with her. This was a Christmas present, planned in detail well in advance. Having to move for just one night, pack and unpack, wait around for two hours until the room was ready, and pay more caused a lot of inconvenience. I realized there was no hope and asked for a full refund. The "lady" evidently doesn't understand that when you make a mistake, you should fix it and do more to compensate. She was rude, blocking me on WhatsApp without giving proof of the refund transfer for the amount already paid. I had to ask for it later, after consulting with my lawyer.

The bathroom was in a terrible state, and there was dust and hair everywhere, including on the sheets. As the photos show, it looked like nothing had been cleaned for a long time. The owner first blamed the cleaning lady, then told Booking.com she had cleaned the place herself and that finding hair in the bed was normal. She also said you shouldn't expect much for €30. I’ll leave you to decide. A horrible apartment with very poor hygiene.

The place felt run-down and unsettling, with dirt throughout and basic hygiene seemingly ignored. The mix of flooring, furniture, doors, and plaster was so chaotic it made me wonder whether this was a home or a dump. I came away thinking the owner takes advantage of tourists who are in a difficult spot. Don't spend your money here, and don't put faith in the positive reviews. The headline says it all: it's not just COVID!
