The view was the best part, and the place has been renovated recently. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. Getting in was less smooth. We arrived close to midnight and there was no reception, so clearer instructions or someone there to help would have made check-in easier. Morning noise also interrupted the quiet we’d hoped for. Some maintenance seemed to have been missed despite the recent renovation, and the room felt a little cold, especially for a colder spell. The Airbnb looks lovely and has modern amenities, but the lack of reception and those maintenance issues may affect the stay, particularly if you want a peaceful, easy arrival.

We spent three days here. The hotel is on the seventh floor of a building in the lovely Quartieri Spagnoli, and breakfast comes with a wonderful panorama over Naples. Our room was clean, the bathroom was roomy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, including its quiet night mode. Breakfast is in a separate room, with eggs, sweet treats, meat, juices, and coffee. We’d booked a balcony room, but couldn’t use the balcony because that side of the building was being renovated. One day we came back around 13:00 to leave our things and found a strong cigarette smell in the room, which was completely unacceptable. Other than that, we had no complaints.

The building is quiet and well kept, and it’s easy to walk to shops, cafes, public transport, the city center, and the main attractions.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the rooms are cleaned daily. There’s a light self-serve breakfast with good coffee and refreshments. The place sits just above the Spanish Quarter, at the top of an old building on the steep slopes of Old Town Naples. You’ll need to climb several wide flights of stairs or squeeze into the tiny vintage elevator. It’s within walking distance of all the amenities, and those views are almost unheard of. Easily my favorite place to stay in Naples.
