Somnia Luxury Rooms

Andrea took good care of me and pointed me toward places to eat and things to see and do. My room was modern and very clean, and the location puts you right in the old town. A lovely stay, and I’ll come back.

After the busy, lively streets of Napoli, it was nice to come back to a quiet, comfortable, clean room at Somnia. I stayed two nights in early/mid October. The room was newly furnished and reasonably priced, and the location worked well for getting around. Duomo metro station is a few minutes away. I walked between Centrale Station area and Somnia in about 15 minutes, and the historic part of the city is just downstairs. Andrea was easy to reach and ready with advice whenever I needed it. I had a very good time.

The host gave us wonderful service, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location was perfect. Highly recommend!

The entrance is shown in the third photo, and there’s a short flight of stone steps up to the rooms. Andrea was a fabulous host, just as other reviews say. I was concerned about sleeping on a sofa bed, but its mattress was better than many hotel beds. You’re in the historic centre, with a Caravaggio 100m away. Italians still live and work here, unlike in some historical centres that have been gentrified, and the locals were gracious and friendly.
