The manager was quick to answer the phone, spoke English, and was helpful. We also found street parking nearby. The building sits on a narrow street typical of Naples, but it was quiet at night. Inside, the rooms are modern and new, with high ceilings and an interior I really liked. There's a comfortable lounge with a dining table and tea and coffee making facilities. I'd give it a 9+.

The location is the only thing I'd praise, and I hate having to leave a negative review, but people planning to stay soon should know. The owner was almost never around. I messaged about my bags on the morning I was leaving, got a reply half a day later, and eventually got fed up and sorted it myself. In all my years trying different B&Bs in Naples, that hasn't happened before. The building is old and run-down, on the second floor with no elevator. Outside the room, the common area has only four chairs and two small tables. There wasn't even a bottle of water. In the bathroom, all I found was shower gel, probably left by another guest. The connection was very poor. I won't come back or recommend it.

The shared balcony looks into an interior courtyard and connects with the other apartments. The rooms are very basic, and there was no Wi-Fi or cell service. That makes the entry setup especially frustrating: it's a three-bedroom apartment, each room has a sink and shower, and there's a very basic common room, but getting inside requires visiting a website. With no signal, how are you meant to open the door? Check-in is self-service. A man called Paolo sends access codes on WhatsApp, but he's hard to reach. There's a secondhand clothes market right in the building entrance, so anyone can walk in and there's no security. We ordered lunch as part of the booking, and it was served at the bar downstairs. The staff there were rude, unfriendly, and seemed in a bad mood all the time. Booking.com shouldn't list a place like this. If you're on holiday, don't book it, it'll ruin your trip.
