The complex looked repulsive, and Piazza Garibaldi was ugly, dirty, and busy, but our stay was safe, warm, and welcoming. Antonella was keen to help and kept our room clean almost every day. Breakfast was quite decent, served in a family atmosphere. The biggest plus was how easy it was to reach all the transport options.

Monica was lovely and always available, doing her best to make my stay comfortable. The hotel was clean, and breakfast was good. It’s very close to the train station, while still being well placed for walking to the city’s interesting sights.

The location is great, and the apartment is simple, with the basics for a night’s stay. I couldn’t find the Wi-Fi password anywhere, so I had to use roaming data for work emails. It also took a while for the hot water to come through.

The location works well for public transport, but the area is very noisy and felt a bit scary for walking at night. Service was acceptable and the staff were friendly. The room had very little going for it: the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were high, and the windows let in outside noise. The bathroom was very small, smelled bad, and didn’t work.
