I felt misled and ignored throughout a disappointing stay at TOLEDO H. NAPOLI CENTRO. The website photos give a completely different impression from what I found. There were stains and marks on the walls, the room was dirty, and I found vermin inside. The fridge didn’t work, and when I asked for help, the staff didn’t respond properly or try to fix it. I’d paid extra for daily cleaning, but the cleaner failed to show up one day. On top of that, the hotel required a €200 deposit and said it would only be refunded after 30 working days. That feels excessive and like a scam. I felt taken advantage of. This place falls short of basic hospitality standards, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Spend your money somewhere you’ll at least be treated honestly and respectfully.

The worst part of my stay was check-in. They insist on cash payment, and I ended up having to call the police. They make you check in 20 km from the station regardless of which hotel or residence you book with them. It was a horrible experience, and I think the whole thing was a scam. I’m a Gold host, believe me, don’t book here. The place is on a side street off Via Toledo, on the fifth floor with only an elevator. The door codes are accessible to anyone, and there were pigeons even inside the room. It was dirty, the sheets were dirty, the bathrooms didn’t work, and it wasn’t quiet even during the day. The balconies felt unsafe, and they wouldn’t replace our towels even when asked. There’s a woman in her sixties who seemed definitely frustrated and should be ashamed.
