We walked to the centre every day from this well-located place. The room was cosy and comfortable, too. Thanks to Tonia, a clever and friendly woman who was always there to help us through different situations 👍🏻

They made us feel right at home and treated us so well.

The listing had all those appealing photos, and I missed the detail that there was no private bathroom. I booked at the last minute after arriving in Naples, and that was a fatal mistake. The bathroom was shared, and getting to transport from this location was difficult. It was also meant to be completely silent even though I arrived very late. I was on vacation, and the location felt disastrous. A lot of things didn't work as they should. The capsule coffee machine seemed to be just for show, the sockets didn't work, and there was no hot water because the boiler was too small for the five rooms the lady rents. The coffee she said she'd provide only came after 8 am, and the croissants shown in the picture were just a picture. There were no slippers for going to the bathroom, so I bought some. There was nowhere to wash a cup, and no broom for tidying up. Cleaning costs extra. I was charged €45 in tourist tax for five nights, got no receipt, and paid €50 without getting change. I feel terribly misled. Next time I'll be more careful. I paid over €100 a night for conditions I'd call one star. Miserable, I don't recommend it.

Antonietta deserves a special mention for being incredibly helpful and making sure all our requests were handled perfectly. The stay was excellent, and the building and rooms have a stately feel. There's air conditioning and the bathrooms are very well equipped. It's close to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and the historic center. I highly recommend it.
