We were able to leave our luggage after checkout, and the Alibus stop for the airport is across the road, about 100 meters away. It’s also an easy walk or subway ride to Naples’ most popular areas. Our rooms were clean and had AC, towels, and all the other necessities. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was great. We tried different Italian sweets, and there was also a non-Italian option with eggs, toast, and different kinds of ham. I can highly recommend the place. We had an amazing stay.

Antonio was always reachable on WhatsApp, and the family running the B&B made the stay feel special. They were warm, friendly, and chatty, made breakfast fresh, and gave us loads of recommendations. We were upgraded to one of their apartments, which was very spacious. The location was decent and close to the metro, though the main road nearby made it a bit loud.

Our hosts, Antonio and Luisa, were warm, kind, and full of fun. They spoke good English, as did their son, and kept checking that we were enjoying ourselves. Their restaurant tips were superb, including La Poeta in Posillipo. Breakfast was made to suit what we wanted, with delicious pastries. We stayed in the room called ‘Capri’ for 3 days, then returned for another day after a flotilla sailing holiday. It was spacious, with a comfortable bed, lots of storage, excellent air conditioning that we needed in temperatures of 29-31 C, and a good view over the port. The B&B is really a block with 6 serviced apartments, a delightful setup. The port is only a 5 minute taxi ride away, handy for trips to the Amalfi coast or the Pontine islands. The airport takes about 20 minutes outside busy commuting times. Next door is a Conad supermarket, and across the road there’s a fabulous café, Bar Gilda, where you should try the granita di limone, plus a delicatessen and restaurant. Zonaporto sits at the bottom of the Centro Storico, close to many of the city's most interesting places. We liked the Capella San Severro and its astonishing sculptures that look draped in cloth, the Duomo, and the beautiful, vast, cool Museo Archeologico Nazionale, full of statues and artefacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum. A walk down Via Tribunali gives you the hustle and bustle, and vivacity, of Neapolitan life. If you do nothing else, take the ferry to Procida and eat at Sottosopra. Turn left from the ferry and keep going to the end of the shops and restaurants.

The location works really well if you're arriving by car, since you can pull up right at the B&B address. It’s also a great base for seeing old Napoli. The service and facilities were absolutely perfect.
