Good value, with an authentic breakfast and friendly owners. A nice choice if you’re after a holiday in nature.

Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the rooms are spacious. But I left with a very negative impression of the way this place was managed. I booked the evening before arriving the next morning. I’d barely unloaded my bags when I heard someone calling to me repeatedly from outside. It was the manager, asking for money in a way that felt unprofessional. At the office I left a €300 deposit against the €450 total. He came back for the remaining money that afternoon, then again during breakfast the next morning. I repeatedly said I’d pay the €150 that day once I got into town, but we couldn’t enjoy breakfast because he went on at length about money and said the children weren’t allowed to eat. In the days afterward, I found out he was separated and had no children, only one grandchild. By the next afternoon, less than 26 hours after we arrived at the B&B, I’d paid the full holiday amount. There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere in the cafeteria and the room. The door seemed to be left open during cleaning, because the room was invariably full of flies when we returned in the afternoon. Cleanliness was nearly nonexistent: the bed was made roughly without changing the sheets, the shower was only rinsed, and the floor was only partly swept. The sink was never cleaned and the floor wasn’t mopped. On the first evening I knocked at the owner’s place, said good evening, and politely asked for a hairdryer. She didn’t answer or bring one, and left me waiting as if nobody was there. I only got the dryer from the manager after asking a second time. The owner didn’t respond to our greetings until the day after we arrived, when we paid for the whole vacation. I don’t recommend this property.

The staff were so friendly and made us feel at ease right away. Breakfast was generous, parking was available, and the rooms had everything we needed.
