Casale Valigi

Francesco, the owner, and his staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and the whole place at Casale Valigi feels peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We had a fantastic visit and can’t recommend it enough.

The Terra room didn’t have a fridge, which was the one thing I missed. I mentioned it to Francesco and he immediately made space for me in the fridge close to the fridge. Casale Valigi is spotless, luxurious, and beautifully put together, with lovely staff and good food. It’s near Narni, a charming little village, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby if Francesco isn’t cooking that evening. A great place to unwind. We’ll be back, more than once.

It’s a pleasant, thoughtfully designed hotel, and everything looks clean and orderly. The rooms are oddly laid out, though, the bathrooms are tiny, and some of the details aren’t practical. The staff work hard and do their best, but the place lacks some of the warmth and charm you’d expect from hospitality. The BBQs they offer are overpriced and not worth it. It works well if you’re happy with more of an Airbnb setup, where you’re mostly on your own, instead of a full-service hotel.

The view is breathtaking, and the property has such a quiet, peaceful feel. Francesco and his team did everything they could to make us comfortable. You’ll need to hire a car, though, since nothing is within walking distance.
