I had a wonderful experience working with the grapes and learning how they’re cultivated. Thanks, Marcello, I learned a lot from you.

The house is a classic 150-year-old farmhouse, with fantastic interiors and atmosphere. That older style may come with a few inconveniences, but we had a truly wonderful stay. Our family left happy and satisfied, and we look forward to visiting again. Three cats came to greet us when we arrived, and they were charming and sociable. Marcelo was a friendly, wonderful host who welcomed us warmly, even though it was late.

We felt at home here, thanks to Marcello’s kindness and helpfulness. It’s a family-friendly place and welcomes pets too. And do buy their hazelnuts! The setting feels magical and old-fashioned, tucked into the woods of the Umbrian valley with geese, chickens, and breathtaking sunsets. There’s such lovely attention to detail, from the rooms and furnishings to the outside spaces. Narni and Calvi are nearby, and Foligno is about an hour away. A must-try experience.

I’m writing on behalf of Mrs. Maria to clarify what the owner said. We did arrive at 11 a.m. to see the place, then went out for a walk and lunch. At 2 p.m. I came back only to enter the building, not to get the room. His employee told me he was busy with other customers, that I wasn’t a customer, and that I should return at 3:30. Around 2:15 I called to cancel the room, even though I’d already paid. Three minutes later the owner called back to say it was ready. Again, at 2 p.m. I only wanted to get inside, not take the room. I just needed the gate opened. I wrote a very negative review, and the owner called me, arrogant and rude, without letting me explain this or what had happened on the phone. I wish you all the best.
