The pool was a lovely way to unwind after a hike and relax at the end of the day. We stayed three nights at the Lärchenhof guesthouse and were thrilled with it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. Our clean room had a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from, both savory and sweet, plus lots of fruit. We’d love to return someday :)

The staff are friendly, and the property feels quite welcoming. Merano is easy to get to, and the setting is lovely, quiet, and surrounded by greenery. The breakfast was quite good. In my opinion, though, the place needs renovation: the carpet looks dated, and some of the fixtures no longer work properly.

Thanks to the guest card, it’s easy to get to Naturns and nearby towns, including Merano, by bus or train. The guesthouse is on the outskirts of Naturns, in a very quiet area surrounded by apple orchards.

The train station is very close, so getting to Merano or Bolzano for the day was easy and stress-free. Buses also run frequently in several directions, and you can start excursions and hikes right from the house. Naturns and the surrounding area have excellent restaurants, too. We first stayed at Pension Lärchenhof in September 2024 for eight days, and felt comfortable from the very start. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains and apple orchards. It was very clean and comfortably furnished, with an in-room safe; the bathroom had a shower and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and you could eat on the terrace. There’s a garden with a pool for relaxing. The owners, Grazia and Pièro, and their team were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us lots of excursion tips and fulfilled every wish. We’ll definitely spend our vacation there again.

The rooms are lovely, and breakfast is good. It’s a beautiful, peaceful and idyllic hotel, with very friendly service.
