The food was wonderful and the service was great. I wasn’t keen on the eating area, though. It feels like the hotel lobby, and I don’t understand why there’s a large dining room that isn’t being used. There’s also a big TV tuned to local channels, with the volume up loud, which gets annoying.

The location is handy, and you can walk to the beach. The staff are friendly, including the lovely cleaning ladies, who gave our big dog lots of cuddles. They come by every morning to sanitize the room. We booked just a room, though half-board and full-board are options too. You can also arrange breakfast, lunch, or dinner without a specific reservation, as long as you book ahead. We tried the “continental breakfast” out of curiosity, but at €6 per person it wasn’t worth it. It was good, just more like €4 a person at most for what you get. Comune is a place I’d recommend.

I stopped by for dinner and really enjoyed the local food. The fish was excellent and nicely presented, and the pasta was fragrant and well seasoned. There was just one staff member, but they handled everything with real professionalism and kindness. Don’t hesitate to eat here.

The location is excellent and the sea is fantastic, which makes it a shame that the hotel falls so short of four-star standards. The rooms are ugly, towels are only changed once a week, and the breakfast buffet is absurd. Maybe the owner is tired or just not in the mood anymore. The price is too high for what’s offered and should be reconsidered.
