U’ Fore B&B Relax garden

This is a lovely countryside spot for a relaxing holiday. With only two rooms, you’ll need to book ahead. Our room had what we needed: a double bed, wardrobe, bathroom and a minibar stocked with basics at no extra cost. Outside there’s a garden and swimming pool. The owners also run a nearby restaurant where you can try excellent local specialties. The hospitality was genuine, the service exquisite, and cleanliness impeccable, with close attention to guests’ needs. A place worth trying and coming back to.

Despite the name, there was nothing relaxing about our stay. It was awful. The owners never wore masks, and we were repeatedly bothered by inappropriate questions and privacy intrusions at all hours. Basic manners were missing. We expected complete silence, but trucks, tractors and cars kept rushing past all day, despite the countryside setting. The room was small and stuffy, with no window, just a tilting door. At least there was air conditioning; without it, it felt like a bunker. It didn’t have the advertised amenities. The TV was old, small, broken and badly placed. There was nowhere to dry towels or wet swimsuits. The pool had no equipment, and there was a scooter under the deck making a constant whining noise. The nearby pizzeria, run by the same company, caused more disturbance, even late at night. On our last morning, we left the room at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast and were unexpectedly asked to leave earlier than scheduled because other guests were arriving. A total disappointment and a complete waste of money. Instead of saying goodbye, they were concerned about the hairdryer. It wasn’t in the room when we arrived, so we had to ask for it, along with many other missing items. We strongly advise against this place if you have even minimal expectations.

The owners are so kind and helpful, and they run the Il Confine restaurant right across the street, where breakfast is served. The property itself is charming but small, with just two rooms. There’s a lovely garden and a little pool, making it a great spot if you want to relax.

Simple in the best way. This B&B is looked after with real care and respect for tradition, and the staff make you feel their warmth through all their kindness and help. A peaceful little oasis in the middle of the Apulian countryside.
