Casa Solotti

We slept really well in the very quiet, beautiful house. The location is stunning, with lovely views and easy access to some of Sardinia's best beaches and hiking routes. Mario and Frédérique made us feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. Mario had some excellent ideas for places to visit. Breakfast was a highlight too, with homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, and more. Our room was clean, nicely presented, and had everything we needed, including a cot for our baby and a fridge. We had a fantastic stay at Casa Solotti and hope to return one day. Absolutely recommend it!

We booked two rooms directly with Mario and Federica, who were open and helpful. The house is cozy and clean, set in a very quiet, green spot surrounded by nature. Our three-bed room had a balcony facing the sunrise, and there's a small kitchen with a large fridge for storing food. Still, don't skip the hosts' delicious homemade breakfast. Mario knows the region and island well and can help with your itinerary and give you great tips. There's a drinkable stream right outside the property, and Mount Corrasi, a popular trekking site, is very close. Driving is the easiest way to get there, though you can also take a taxi from Nuoro or, if you're feeling adventurous, trek for one hour.

Mario and Frederique welcomed us like family from the moment we arrived. Mario also helped us book and plan adventures around Sardinia, and his local knowledge led us to hidden treasures and some of the island's best spots. Casa Solotti is tucked into breathtaking mountains, with the surrounding nature park bringing a real sense of peace. It's a special place to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors. We had an unforgettable stay and can't wait to return.
