The views around the property are beautiful, and there are cats and a friendly dog on site. Our room was tidy, and the bathroom was very large with plenty of towels and shampoo packets. There was nowhere to put your things in the shower, though. A few things caught us out: the staff don't speak English, and the wifi doesn't reach the rooms. Breakfast runs from 7:00-9:00, a window we missed, and we arrived five minutes late. Almost everything had been cleared, so we only got a croissant and tea. The place sits high up, reached by a very winding, narrow, uphill road. It could be tricky for some cars, especially when meeting traffic coming the other way.

I love this quiet, incredible place. The hosts are amazing, and the food is crazy good. I asked why it tasted so good and how he cooked some things. He told me he travels around Sardinia to buy wine, meat, vegetables, and wild boar meat from local people, and tries to keep everything as natural and simple as possible. And my God, the house wine! Love this place and these people. Gani is amazing!

Montitundu is my favorite place in the world. I've come back so many times because Gianni and Giorgia make you feel at home, and the food is the best real Sardinian experience you can have. After all that amazing food, if you're too full to drive back, you can book a room and enjoy the peaceful setting.

After getting lost while hiking in these beautiful mountains, we eventually made it here. We were so grateful for the wonderful hospitality. Gianni offered us cold water and even drove us back to our rental car. Gracie Mille!! Lilia & Johannes

It really feels like having a meal in your grandmother's kitchen. The food and service were outstanding, and the whole experience was amazing. This place is wonderful.
