Le Sirene

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the hotel looked in person. The rooms are beautiful, and ours had a balcony with a view, chairs, and sunbeds. It seems the place may have just been renovated. The staff were very kind, and we really enjoyed our stay. Marina di Portisco is a convenient base near the main road. The marina has a few good restaurants, a supermarket, a wine shop, and places to stop for a drink. By car, it was 20 minutes to Olbia, 5 to Porto Rotondo, 10 to Porto Cervo, 40 to Porto Istana, 30 to Palau, and 20 to Baja Sardinia. There are also gorgeous beaches and good restaurants around Costa Smeralda. The rooms are well insulated, though we could hear a little bass from the marina bars until about 2 AM. It didn’t bother us and we slept well, but if it might bother you, ask for a higher-floor room or one at the back. My boyfriend is 1.95 m tall, while the beds were only 1.90 cm long, so his feet stuck out. Still, we slept comfortably.

Everything was great. Just keep in mind, you’ll need a car or a boat!

What a beautiful place!

For a two-night stay, the small room was quite adequate. If you’re staying a week or more, I’d look elsewhere because the rooms have very little furniture. Breakfast was an absolute disaster. I’ve never seen anything like it. Expectations weren’t high, but even basic food and drinks seemed too much to ask. The hotel has no restaurant of its own, and breakfast is served at a restaurant 30 meters away. The location is great, with four or five restaurants to choose from in the evening. We’d still book the hotel again for a short trip.
