Camping Village Marina Chiara

We'd been told to call the day before our trip after trying several times that week to book five nights. We did, calling both the day and night before, but still weren't allowed to reserve. They said to try to be among the first there in the morning. This is our only holiday this year, and we'd already driven two hours with all our belongings, yet when we arrived they barely seemed to look for a pitch. We just got “nothing,” with no other options, even after explaining we'd be coming. Now we're stranded with little hope of enjoying our holiday. The staff were rude, incompetent, and no help at all. What a horrible way to run a business. I hope your future holidays are as unpleasant as you've made mine.

The beach is great for both kids and older people, and it's only a five-minute walk away. The camping area sits in the shade of pine trees and is family friendly. The bar is excellent, while the restaurant is okay.

It looked alright, though the area seemed a bit remote. There's a bus stop right outside, so I think staying here would have worked well. I was looking forward to it, but sadly it was closed.

The staff are really friendly, and the camp has its own beach and all the services you need. I took off a star because it's so close to the main road that you can hear traffic at night.
