The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The furnishings and bathroom feel dated, though. It's a decent hotel with a restaurant near the center of Orsogna. Breakfast was the usual small Italian spread, a croissant and assorted packaged items. Dinner had several dishes to choose from, and the food was okay, with a good range of local wines. The restaurant itself felt rather cool in atmosphere.

We wanted somewhere between the Adriatic and the Miella, and a friend with roots in the area suggested this place. The location worked perfectly for exploring Abruzzo, and we plan to return. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. Veronica, who speaks English, went above and beyond to make our five-day stay memorable. We were pleasantly surprised by dinner, with really good local wines and delicious first and second courses. Breakfast was served daily until 9:30, and I loved the coffee machine since you could make caffe just the way you wanted. My buffet favorites were fresh scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cornetti, and apple cake. Our room was spacious, with a big closet, good lighting, and a balcony that got morning sun. There was lots of birdsong. The bathroom had a large vanity and good light, and the bed, pillows, and linens were all very comfortable. Maid service came daily while we were at breakfast. Don't judge a book by its cover!
