We only stayed one night, and it was hard to leave. The host is a really nice guy, and the accommodation is great, with big rooms, a balcony, and a proper little fridge that was so useful in 35 degrees. There's a lovely terrace for sitting, relaxing, eating, or having a drink. Inside, the spaces are beautiful and soothing, with relaxing jazz, old posters, and a fireplace that makes you want to come back in winter. Great location for Castro and the nearby beaches.

Lucio was so kind and friendly, and served us a generous spread of delicious, authentic dishes made with local ingredients. My mother is vegetarian and was finally completely satisfied, which is rare. We booked lunch here for her birthday, and the peaceful, one-of-a-kind setting among the greenery, so close to the sea, made it feel magical. The meal was excellent value for money. A big thank you from our whole family to Lucio and the talented chef. Highly recommend it.

The clean, comfortable rooms are a nice bonus after an evening of excellent food in a warm, traditional setting. Pippo and his daughter are so hospitable and friendly, they make the place truly top-notch.
