Cësa Marmolada - Art Chalet

The location and property are nice, but I ran into a serious billing problem. After checking out and leaving town, my card was charged twice for the same stay. I reported the duplicate and followed up several times. Nearly three months later, I still hadn’t received a refund, despite the property repeatedly saying they would handle it.

Cesa Marmolada was a great base for exploring the Dolomites, on the edge of a beautiful alpine town. The space worked wonderfully for our family of four, with the comfiest beds and high-end linens and towels. Willi was very accommodating. They can deliver baked goods in the morning if you order the night before. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

The sauna wasn’t working, which was a disappointment since we love using one and it was part of the reason we booked. Still, the many good things about this place outweighed that hiccup. Our cabin was cosy and comfortable, well located for getting around on foot or by car, and had a stunning view over Ortisei and the surrounding mountains. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and helped us sleep well while recovering from jetlag. We’re having a gorgeous three-night stay in magic Ortisei. After a stunning, surreal drive from Venice, it’s been lovely to settle in for a few days. Hospitality has been fantastic, with all our needs handled through WhatsApp. Grazie! The hikes here are epic. Yesterday we took a short gondola ride up and spent about three hours exploring Alpe Di Siusi. Highly recommend it. Ortisei itself is magical, quaint, romantic, and has a strong Swedish influence. It’s a beautiful place to stop and enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we highly recommend it.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the terrace has a beautiful view. The place is new, clean, and extremely cozy. It’s such good value for the price that I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Ortisei. My only small gripe is the early 10 AM checkout.
