The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but our experience was very negative. Airbnb intervened and we received a 50% refund. The manager was highly unprofessional, taking an average of 8 hours to respond, and the staff generally felt unwelcoming and avoided interaction. The listing advertises a pool, but it’s only open for a few months each year. The place is remote, with nothing much nearby or to do on the property, so we didn’t see a real reason to stay there. We got no basic suggestions about nearby shops or things to do, which would have helped in such an isolated area. We stayed three nights but were given only a single-use body wash for one night, when a refillable bottle would be cheaper and better for the environment. WiFi didn’t work, and reception in the area was patchy. Poor quality and bad value.

Check-in was smooth, and messages on WhatsApp were always answered quickly and helpfully. The kitchen had everything we needed. The quiet setting, lovely garden, and spectacular pool made our stay exceed expectations.

A peaceful, somewhat isolated spot, just right if quiet is what you’re after. The place has been recently renovated with real taste, it was clean, and the sea view was spectacular. I stayed in the Rosmarino house, and it had no windows at all, only the entrance door as an opening. I wish I’d known that before booking.

A lovely base for exploring this part of Sicily, with plenty of attractions nearby: Ragusa, Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Marzamemi, Syracuse, Ortigia, and others. The place is surrounded by nature, and the hospitality and accommodation details were fantastic. I’d happily stay again.
