We had a fantastic family stay with five of us. The apartment isn’t fancy, but it’s very spacious, with well maintained amenities, a great kitchen, and a living room that comfortably fits a crowd. The views of Il Sassolungo are amazing. There’s a forest behind the compound with a pleasant one-hour hike to a local church. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk down to Ortisei town center, and the uphill return is a workout. Driving takes only five minutes, and there’s lots of parking, including an underground garage to keep the car out of the weather. Claudia was a fantastic hostess, always smiling and going out of her way to help. You can see how much effort goes into keeping the compound clean and well maintained. A few small things to keep in mind: there’s no A/C, though we didn’t notice during our late May to early June visit, the Wi-Fi can be weak and sometimes forced us into a digital detox, and footsteps from upstairs guests may be audible. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

The view and the spotlessly clean, welcoming place made this one of the best stays of our trip. Mrs. Claudia was so kind and welcoming. We also appreciated being close to the center and having two easy parking choices, either right outside or in the basement. Highly recommended!

Getting here by public transport was straightforward: from the train station in Bolzano, take bus 350 to Betania, then walk about 900 meters. Claudia was a magnificent host. Our room was spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, heated towel rails and floor, and a great shower. Town is just a 10-minute walk away.

We were lost on the valley road, and the owner answered when I called and kindly explained how to get back. She was so friendly. Our week here was perfect, too: she gave us a huge, comfortable room, larger than the one we booked, and the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony were all absolutely clean. From the balcony, the scenery was beautiful, including what I think was Sassolungo. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Ortisei.
