Agriturismo Borgo Pirolino

The rooms are clean and the staff are nice, too. I visited about two years ago and am going back again. The location is what does it for me.

Close to Orvieto, with A+ service. Wonderful place, and I'll definitely come back.

Our stay was a great success. The view of Orvieto from the living room, terrace, and garden is absolutely breathtaking, with sweeping scenery and colors that shift through the day. We were in a small village of several little houses owned by the same family and set up for visitors. Martina lives right across the street. She welcomed us warmly and answered all our questions quickly, right up to the last minute, even on WhatsApp while she was working. The large private parking area was convenient, and it's about a seven-minute drive to Orvieto's big car park, which connects to the escalators and elevators for the center. Borgo Pirolimo is also well placed for trips to Civita di Bagnoregio, Bolsena and its medieval castle by the lake, and Pitigliano. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped. Its beautiful, very recent shower room has a toilet, bidet, and large sink. Every room has one or more windows, wooden shutters outside, and mosquito nets, which are useful because there are a lot of mosquitoes in this area. Thank you, Martina!

Martina is a welcoming owner who is always available, and the agriturismo is well cared for. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and a pleasure to stay in. It’s also well placed for visiting places nearby, from Lake Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio to Viterbo and the many picturesque villages in the area. Still, the view of Orvieto is what stays with you: broad, evocative, and changing in light and color throughout the day. It's impossible not to be captivated. Everything was lovely, but that view really remains in your heart.
