The quiet is what stays with me, an ocean of silence, as Battiato sings. The place is beautifully cared for and full of charm, and the people are kind, easygoing, and decent. It sits on the border of Umbria and Lazio, making it a good base for visiting Orvieto and its cathedral, Civita di Bagnoreggio in Tuscia, the dying city, and plenty of other lovely spots nearby.

Greenery all around, a pool, and so much calm. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the place was clean. It feels like a dream if what you want is to relax, and I only found that kind of peace here.

The garden isn't fenced, which was a shame for our dog, but the place is still lovely. The owner was kind, and I think it's worth a visit.
