Appartamento Clementini

The location is very convenient for the city center and Duomo, but free parking is limited. The Booking.com and Airbnb.it descriptions didn’t fully match what I found. Of the photos posted as of September 29, 2020, I recognized only the living room with its arched entrance door and sofa, the fitted kitchen with an open refrigerator and a table with two floral chairs, and the bathroom and shower with black and white striped wall coverings. The living room has no windows, so the front door is its only source of natural light and air, but it faces the street and can’t be left open. The two bedrooms sit side by side and seem to have been converted from a vaulted garage. Their doors also open directly to the street, so they can’t be left open for ventilation. There’s no storage apart from a wall-mounted niche with shelves. In the second bedroom there’s a small 25x30 cm window high up, a clothesline, two little tables with lights, and another door. I don’t know where that door leads because it was closed. The bathroom opens off the living room and has a regular-sized window with a security grill.

The location is truly excellent. The apartment stays cool, but it’s poorly lit because there aren’t enough windows. The furnishings are minimalist, the kitchen is missing a lot of dishes, and the towels are old and worn.

The apartment is spacious and fairly clean, with a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. The location is ideal. There’s a parking lot about a 15-minute walk away that costs €1 per day.

The location is perfect, right in the historic center, and there’s a nice parking lot nearby where you might find a space if you’re lucky. The apartment has real potential as a pied-à-terre, but that potential isn’t being made the most of. Cleanliness was terrible: the sheets were dirty, probably not changed, and there was dust everywhere.
