The terrace was a lovely bonus, and the apartment stayed remarkably quiet despite being right in the centre of Orvieto. It’s spacious, too. The manager called ahead with driving directions and was quick to respond. They charge 5€ per night for a baby cot. As a parent, I don’t like that it isn’t free. It’s not about the cost so much as feeling a little less welcome.

The hospitality was excellent, and we felt comfortable enough to stay like Orvieto residents, even as Japanese visitors. There’s a supermarket just a two-minute walk away, which made the location really convenient.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, and having breakfast things in the kitchen was great. I really liked the location and only wish we’d had more time there.
