Hotel Dei Tacchi

We used this as our base for trekking around the region and it worked perfectly. There are lots of great spots very close by, and the terrace has incredible views across the hills all the way to the sea. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hospitality was excellent too, they were always ready to help or suggest somewhere to go.

You get what you pay for. The rooms feel like prison cells: fully tinted windows with no outside view, fluorescent ceiling lights, a very worn mattress, a wobbly bed and plasticky furniture. There’s a smart TV, but no actual TV channels hooked up. The wifi speed is surprisingly decent. Breakfast is very basic, so bring your own food if you’re hungry. The place is quite isolated, with no food or shops nearby. Management could use an attitude adjustment. The reviews here also seem pretty sketchy. Sometimes Google doesn’t catch the fake ones.

For breakfast, the freshly baked croissants and espresso were the best bits. They also had ham, cheese and bread, in the typical Italian style. The lodgings were simple, spacious and comfortable, and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Worked perfectly for our week of climbing with a local guide.

We had a great time here on our climbing trip. The rooms were nice, and the terrace has amazing views down to the sea. Giovanni and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating.
