We stayed for a week in mid-August in one of the larger apartments, and it was a very mixed stay. The lake and island views are fantastic, the rooms are modern, the pool is decent, and there’s parking right below the building. But Booking.com showed this as number 22, right beside the lake, while the actual place is by the main road with it in between. The traffic noise was intense day and night. Sitting outside was barely possible, and sleeping with the windows open was out of the question. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. The TV was completely unusable, even with an HDMI cable, and an air conditioning unit dripped onto the main bed. The agency and owner knew about both problems, but apparently neither was fixed. The kitchen had most things, but there was a dangerous Teflon pan and only metal utensils. I had to throw out the scrambled eggs. At least the agency replaced them right away when I asked.

We came as a family of eight, three children, three adults, and two seniors, for four nights starting May 22 at “Residence Comacina”. Getting to the apartment meant tackling lots of stairs with our luggage, and there were more stairs inside. Nobody warned us, and the photos don’t show it. We were also shocked to find just one bathroom and toilet for all of us. It felt very inadequate and upsetting. When we asked the owner about shortening the stay, he said that if we didn’t pay then, he would call the police to remove us. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. They had left only two rolls of toilet paper despite knowing there were eight of us. When we asked for more, we were told to take care of those things ourselves. We’d been told someone would clean the pool daily, but it was full of leaves, bugs, and dirt. Nobody came at any point during our stay, not even once. Our kids couldn’t use the pool, although we paid the full price including access to it. The view and Daniela the host are the reasons for the one star. I don’t recommend spending your vacation in this apartment.
