Maya was a daily highlight for us. Walking with her through the olive groves was such a treat, and the kids adored her. Angelo’s son Alessandro was wonderful too, and together they made the place feel like home. Angelo’s local restaurant suggestions were spot on, and he even got up early so we could have a full breakfast before our flight. The breakfast was a delight each morning, especially his homemade pistachio crumble cake. He personally talked us through the spread, and it felt like having a master baker and a friend at the table. The 18th-century farmhouse, Masseria Donna Nina, sits among Puglia’s olive groves and feels like its own little haven. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with lovely stone walls and vaulted ceilings. There’s a heated pool that both the kids and adults loved, and a calm garden that felt like a private oasis. Angelo welcomed us like family from the moment we arrived. Traveling with children can get chaotic, but he was flexible about everything we needed. He arranged a last-minute taxi to Ostuni, adjusted breakfast time for our early-rising kids, and set up an in-room massage when the usual therapist wasn’t available. He made stressful bits easy and never seemed to mind helping. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The facilities were well kept, the location was ideal and breakfast was delicious. Angelo’s hospitality really made the stay, though. He made us feel welcome from the easy check-in through to his thoughtful concierge recommendations, and his warmth and personal touch set the place apart.

Angelo was wonderful, welcoming and easy to communicate with. When there was a booking mistake, he helped us sort it out. The distinctive stone rooms were quiet and clean, and breakfast was a favorite, especially the tarts and fruit grown on his farm. He was also very accommodating with our 8 month old baby.

We had an amazing stay. Angelo welcomed us so warmly, and the peaceful property is well placed for Ostuni and other great places nearby. Our small dog loved spending time with the owners’ dog, Maya, and we took her for walks. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. A*
