Masseria Salinola

The peaceful atmosphere and all the thoughtful little touches made our two nights here lovely. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including eggs made to order, cakes, fresh cheese, ham, fruit and yogurt. Our room was very clean, though a bit small for the price. Dinner was good, but at €50 we expected more; €35-40 would have felt fairer. At checkout they kindly gave us fresh bottles of water and some cakes.

We hadn't planned to eat every dinner at Masseria Salinola, but after the delicious first meal, we did just that. The family-run place is now in its fourth generation, and Daniele, Sonia and the others took plenty of time to share suggestions. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the whole masseria felt charming, authentic and restful. Its location worked well for visiting Ostuni, Alberobello's Trulli houses and Polignano a Mare. A wonderful base for time in Puglia.

We spent a week here as a family of four in October 2025. The hosts were lovely, and so was the surrounding area. Breakfast had lots of typical homemade dishes. We'd love to come back, and we're grateful for the warm hospitality.

The pool was a lovely place to slow down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and we especially liked dining outside at the characterful restaurant. Breakfast, with eggs from their hens and homegrown olive oil, was a highlight; dinner was delicious too, and the staff were attentive throughout. Our rooms, with soft white and cream stone walls, felt elegant and comfortable. The owner welcomed us warmly, shared the hotel's family history and did so much to make our five-night stay memorable. Just a short drive away, Ostuni has a lively cosmopolitan feel. While we were there, my daughter's partner proposed and she said yes! We came away feeling peaceful and already sure we'd return. Thank you to the owners and staff for such a special holiday.
