TH Ostuni - Ostuni Marina Village

The beaches were lovely, and the sea was amazing, clear blue and good for snorkeling. The hotel is set in a pine forest, which means lots of shade and a pleasant climate. The all-inclusive selection isn’t huge, but all the food and drinks we tried were very good. You can pay extra for ice cream and some drinks. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine, so don’t expect French fries or plain dishes. We tried lots of specialties and seafood, and it was great. The staff were kind. There were enough activities for kids, and lots of sports for adults too. A bus to Ostuni city leaves from the hotel parking lot. Ask reception for the timetable. It costs €2 per person per ride, much less than a taxi.

We still enjoyed the holiday, even though a theft left a bad mark on it. While we were at the beach, someone stole our wallet and AirPods from our locked room. The hotel refused to help, despite our being able to show that unauthorized payments had been made. I had to report it at the police station. The beach was lovely, and the shaded walk through the trees to get there was pleasant. The kids and I liked the wide range of food, though the gap between lunch and dinner felt too long for them. I missed having a snack bar in between.

The food is really good, and there are plenty of activities if you don't want to spend all your time lying on the beach. The evening entertainment works well for both adults and kids. Staff are friendly and professional, and they give you space. The site is quite spread out, so getting from one area to another means a fair bit of walking. Some buildings feel old, and a few rooms aren't great.

We had a great holiday: lovely sea, loads of sports and other activities, fun entertainment, and very good food!
