Agriturismo Fontanelle

We really liked the friendly, helpful staff, and the beach is easy to reach by bike. Walking there is possible, though it takes a bit too long. The pine forest nearby is lovely and gives you cool shade, but the trees within the camping areas are still too small to offer much cover. Toilets and showers are clean and nice, with hand soap and toilet paper provided, which is a real plus. The drawback is the hot shower system: you need a bracelet, and the setup feels odd, restrictive and overpriced 🧻🧴🔒💧🌲🚴‍♂️🩵

It felt a little pricey for what you get. I paid €28 for a night on a basic camper pitch. The toilets were clean, but quite a walk from the pitch. Showers cost €0.50 per minute and the temperature control was dodgy. The beach is a short walk away, though I didn’t find it especially special.

The beach is about 800 metres away, with lovely soft sand, and Otranto centre and its supermarkets are roughly 7k away. The site was well maintained, with friendly people and clean facilities, including toilet seats and paper. After some places we’ve stayed, this felt like a breath of fresh air. It’s a real gem, and I’d recommend it and come back.

My favourite campsite in Italy 🇮🇹 😍 The staff were so polite and friendly, and the whole site was well organised. The showers and toilets were extremely clean. There’s a short walk through lovely woods to the sandy beach, and dogs are welcome 🐕 Highly recommend 👌
