The area is beautiful, though in September it was very quiet and there wasn’t much going on outside the harbor.

Parking is conveniently close to the beach, and prices start at €3 per day, which is a welcome contrast with the crazy rates at nearby beaches. Still, I wouldn’t recommend the beach itself. The shore and sea were covered in seagrass. I know it’s important for the ecosystem, but it took away from the experience and the sea’s colors. After reading the reviews, maybe our expectations were too high.

Evenings around this pretty harbor are lively, and there are lots of restaurants and a beach. I wouldn’t put that beach at the top of my list, though, since others nearby are more beautiful. For a lovely harbor and sea view, sit on the rocks at the end of the harbor. At night the stars are fantastic, and in summer you can easily spot shooting stars with the naked eye. People are friendly, and the location is handy, with San Teodoro about a five minute drive away and a few things to see there. For beaches, Spiaggia di Su Tiriarzu is my personal favorite, even though it’s a bit far. La Cinta is another option, but during peak season it’s so crowded you can’t really enjoy it.
