Hotel Cenzo

Katia and Mirko made us feel at home, comfortable, and thoroughly looked after during Epiphany week. I stayed with my husband and two children, and the room was large, welcoming, and always warm. The location is great, a five-minute walk from Ovindoli's main square and a five-minute drive from the slopes and cable car. The hospitality, courtesy, and kindness were lovely. If you want a family-run hotel where you're treated with warmth and care, go to Hotel Cenzo. If you're after glitz and luxury in a grand hotel, look elsewhere. We paid €110 for a double room with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is not far from the center and has parking in the courtyard. The room was very clean but small, just enough for two, though four can fit with a bunk bed. The bathroom was clean, but there was no bidet, just a toilet with a built-in manual hose. There was only one set of bathroom amenities for four nights. Breakfast included croissants, milk and coffee in hot containers, a donut, cookies, juice, jam, packaged chocolate, griddled bread, ham, and cheese. Dinner had a first and second course, more or less traditional, with drinks extra.

The hotel is just a few steps from the center of Ovindoli, which is a great spot. We spent a weekend there and immediately felt at home. Katia and Mirko were simply wonderful. We'll be back soon, we promise.

Catia and Mirco are incredibly courteous and kind, and the place is impeccably clean. It's a quiet, family-run hotel just steps from the village, with a garden of fir trees and a lovely lawn where you can relax. The food is excellent, and they even accommodated me as a vegan. We can't wait to come back.
