We pulled in for one night to get out of a bad electrical storm. It costs €20 per night including electricity, or you can pay a separate fee if you only need to empty black and grey water. It’s basically a hotel car park with basic facilities. The bathrooms smell and feel dirty, and there was no toilet seat. They seem rare in Sicily, but where I’m from, asking guests to sit on a bare bowl in a bathroom that reeks of stale urine is pretty disgusting. I wonder if they keep the same standards at home.

The staff were really helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower had good water pressure, and breakfast was generous, with a Canolli for dessert. Wi-Fi was great downstairs but barely worked in the upstairs rooms. I was satisfied, though you need a car to get into town from this location.

It was okay.

This was a quiet, secure stop with 24-hour video surveillance, and a great base for visiting Erice, Trapani, the salt pans, and the Egadi Islands. We used the camper stop and found it excellent, both for its strategic position and its essential services, including camper service, bathrooms, and showers. The bar was excellent too, with sweet and savory snacks, and there’s also a newsagent and tobacconist.

We spent seven nights here as motorcyclists and had an incredible stay. The free private parking is secure, which is especially convenient for motorcyclists and campers. The staff were welcoming and friendly, our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location worked perfectly for exploring the city. Thanks to the staff for such excellent service. We highly recommend it as a welcoming, comfortable place to stay.
