Well organized and clean 👌

We chose the Bacco apartment on the first floor, with its lovely street-facing balcony. It was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully put together. Booking through the website was straightforward, with everything clearly laid out, and when we called the property, they guided us through it by phone and gave us an extra discount. The staff were discreet, very helpful, and kept assisting us during our stay. The aparthotel has a character all its own and a real story to tell. Its location is handy for the beaches at San Lorenzo, Carratois, and Portopalo, and for trips to Marzamemi and Noto. We had an excellent stay.

The Marte and Dante apartments were elegant, comfortable, and well looked after, and we had a fantastic stay in both. They’re a good base for a beach day or for visiting Noto, Marzamemi, Modica, and Scicli. Thanks for everything 🙏

The spa was one reason I picked this place, but the Turkish bath was broken during our stay. In practice, the spa meant the emotional shower and jacuzzi. The apartment also didn’t have a terrace as the Booking.com listing seemed to suggest. It did mention a shared terrace, but not that it was three floors above our apartment, so I found the description misleading. With the extremely hot, cramped elevator, where you have to hold the button the whole way, it was no use for breakfast or dinner and awkward even for drying towels and swimsuits. In my view, the ground-floor apartment isn’t suitable for a beach holiday: the phone signal is as weak as in a hostel, the rooms are small and dark, and there’s no outdoor space. The toilet was more like a museum than a home. We won’t return, and I really can’t recommend it.
