The horses seem very content, with roomy stalls and paddocks even though the setup is rustic. This training ranch is the best option I’ve found for my Dutch Warmblood, despite being far from home. Tanja has 25 years of experience, and I trust her judgment.
The walk was lovely, and the young man who came along was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Unfortunately, the young woman we encountered at reception was extremely impolite and rude.
Watching Tanja work with her beloved horses is always a dreamlike experience. I was lucky enough to spend some lovely days with her again. The deep bond and harmony between Tanja and the horses really comes through. If you’re hoping to find peace, happiness, and harmony between animals and nature, Tanja’s place is just right.
It’s all just a show for tourists! I boarded my old, skinny horse there and had to fight all summer to get enough water and hay, and to have the stable kept clean. The horse was also unwashed. Don’t be fooled, and look closely.
I’ve been going to this ranch for years, and it’s the only place I leave my horses. I’ve never had a problem. The owner is kind and professional.
