I've stayed here several times, and the rooms have always been clean and quiet. The location works well, about 10 minutes from both the train station and a supermarket. The owner is professional and helpful, and she cares about good service. With advance notice, she was happy to change my check-in time several times when my transport was delayed.
We stayed for three nights, August 18th to 20th, with 10 people filling all the B&B rooms, two triples and two doubles. We were there for my wedding. The lady greeted us courteously at first, but the next day she started coming into the rooms, saying she was cleaning, though none of us noticed any cleaning. She also said we were messy. Three people in a 3x3m room are bound to have belongings around, but we never touched or moved anything that wasn't ours. On the wedding morning, she turned off the boiler, so we had no hot water for showers. When we complained, she came up with odd explanations about it malfunctioning, then managed to fix it. She had also had external switches installed to cut power to the air conditioners. We couldn't freely use them. We'd turn them on and she'd cut the power after a few minutes. On our last day, all of us were without AC because she decided when and how it could be used. My mother, who is nearly 80, was also staying there, though that didn't seem to matter to her. My wife and I had paid for an extra day, but we left because of the poor reception, and didn't even ask for our money back. Mrs. ELISA, as she calls herself, clearly still hasn't learned how to do this job after all these years.
Parking was easy, and the residential neighborhood has shops, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. It's very convenient for trade fairs and stadiums. I stayed the night of May 14th to 15th. The ground-floor property has just one step at the entrance, three bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a dining room with a kitchen. I appreciated being able to use the refrigerator. My room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was served by the owner, who was always helpful and lives upstairs.
Restaurants, the station, and sights are just a few steps away, and there's a large free parking area close by. The apartment is central but in a quiet area, tastefully furnished, and the breakfast was exceptional. The owner was friendly and happy to share information. I'd highly recommend staying here in Padua.
The owner wasn't always easy to spot, but she was very helpful, and discovering her was a pleasure. She's a real person. We had spacious, comfortable accommodation, a breakfast that was more than good, and a mosquito net in the room that came in handy. Highly recommended.
