A lovely place to spend the night. It’s an old regional-style house, but everything felt new and was extremely clean. We stopped here for a good night’s sleep and a hot shower. Breakfast was okay.

We came across Casale by chance while looking for somewhere to break up our drive through Padula. It’s handy for the highway, and the early 20th-century building has been renovated with good taste. Our spotless, nicely furnished room was on the ground floor and accessible for disabled guests. The rooms face the courtyard at the back, so the highway running past the farmhouse was less noticeable. Breakfast was adequate, and the prices were about average. A solid place to stop during a trip.

The welcome was lovely, and breakfast, though fairly standard, was plentiful. The rooms are comfortable in a beautiful farmhouse with a lot of character that’s recently been restored. I did miss having air conditioning and enough electrical outlets, both of which feel more than necessary these days.

It’s outside the city center, but the rooms are new and kept in good shape. There’s a well-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare and eat their own food, and the staff were helpful. I’d recommend it.
