A 10-minute walk gets you into the center of Palazzolo Acreide, though the farmhouse itself is wonderfully quiet and has a lovely panoramic view. It’s supplied with sheets, towels and cookware, and there are two bathrooms. Outside, tables, chairs and an umbrella are set up for guests. The owners were perfect. The master bedroom is especially roomy and stays cool. We’d recommend it to families or couples traveling alone. A vacation we won’t forget.
