Adriana welcomed us so kindly and was always available. Casa Ronco Scalzo is a lovely place, set in a picturesque spot with a beautiful view and the special atmosphere of Palazzolo Acreide. We were glad it welcomed dogs too, so ours could enjoy the little terrace overlooking the lovely stone garden. Our "Snail House" was thoughtfully furnished and had everything we needed. It was a vacation we'll always remember.

Our host greeted us promptly and was relaxed and very courteous. We were a couple visiting in mid-July and stayed in the "snail" house in the medieval quarter, close to the beautiful Basilica of St. Paul and just a short walk from the center. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, with a few useful extras as well. Palazzolo Acreide was a wonderful first-time discovery, and this is an ideal place to stay.

On a scorching day, finding cold beer and lemon tea in the fridge was such a relief. The welcome was lovely, and dogs are welcome too. The property has several units, so it feels more like a small residence than one house. We stayed in the Lumaca house, a charming studio with lovely furnishings, and it was easy to get into the garden from outside.

My husband and I went to Palazzolo for the day on September 5th, and we met a wonderful, very kind woman who welcomed us to Casa Ronco Scalzo. It's a beautiful place, and it feels just as welcoming as it looks. A special thank you from both of us 🤩

The staff were incredibly kind, and the holiday home felt fresh, comfortable, and welcoming. I fell for its typically Sicilian character. Highly recommended!
