Casa Fabbro

We stayed in a gorgeous one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of this historic home on the central square. It looks dated from the outside, but inside it's a really comfortable loft-style space. The 2018 renovation was carefully done, keeping the original walls and ceilings alongside modern touches. There was air conditioning, a washing machine, dishwasher, electric stove, capsule coffee maker, stovetop mocha makers, and a stylish bathroom. Francesco was warm and easy to reach, with useful tips whenever we needed them. The village sits between Trieste and Venice, and Lignano station makes train trips straightforward. Trains run hourly, and you can reach either city in about an hour without traffic worries. If you're driving, the beaches at Lignano are also close. Downstairs there's a lounge with an iron and dishwasher, plus a spot to leave bicycles. We'd recommend the apartment for families.

A lovely, clean and modern studio, with good beds and a really nice host, Francesco. The village itself is a little quiet, though. Still, we highly recommend staying here.

Francesco and Paola were always available and the service was excellent. The furnishings were hard to fault, with a washing machine, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen. A great fit for a road trip.

The owner clearly wants guests to feel at home. Everything we needed was already there before we had to look for it. So much care in the details, highly recommended, 10 out of 10!
