The room and bathroom were badly damaged, with no air conditioning, no towels, and dirt everywhere. It felt like sleeping in a stable would be a better deal. The place seems to be in the middle of a highway, and at best you risk picking up a skin condition. Definitely avoid it.

I hardly know where to begin. The place was dirty, and the bathroom mats were visibly stained and filthy. We got just one towel for nine days. With no bathroom window, the damp smell and stifling heat were unbearable. By halfway through the trip, we'd rather use the toilets in bars. The bathroom's only small window looked straight into another room's bathroom, which was occupied. Absurd. Don't trust the kitchen and washing machine photos. Those things couldn't be used. We had to buy detergent, a sponge to clean the bathroom, and even toilet paper. Then the innkeeper asked us as a "courtesy" to leave one night early. That turned into a day and a half early because he'd booked another room. I asked him to at least find somewhere nearby for us so he could have the room, but he suggested places in the middle of nowhere or not registered as B&Bs. I refused to move that far ahead of schedule after paying and while on vacation. He was downright rude, then ignored my messages about where to leave the key after checkout, which he didn't show up for. Terrible. Avoid it. There are plenty of better B&Bs in the same location.

The building is old and dirty, and the amenities are ridiculous. We got one set of towels for five days, with no face towels; bidet towels were available only if we asked. The beds weren't suitable, and the photos don't show what the place is really like. We only stayed four days, but that was more than enough. I refused the first room we were offered, and after a heated negotiation, we got one that was just barely acceptable.

Palermo was easy to explore from here, and the price felt very fair. My room was tidy, air-conditioned and quiet even though it faced the main street. The shared bathroom was cleaned often, too. We were welcomed warmly and treated with real kindness. Thanks for looking after us.
